HuskyChow
Northeastern meal plans use two types of credits: meal swipes and HuskyDollars. Meal swipes can be exchanged for a full preset meal, while HuskyDollars work like a debit card. The problem: many Northeastern students don’t know all the places to spend their credits, and often end up eating in the same places over and over.
Enter HuskyChow: Northeastern student’s all-in-one interactive map to discover and navigate to new places to use meal credit. The app allows users to search for a specific restaurant, filter by either credit type, and navigate to the location via Google Maps.
The project was realized using UI/UX design processes:
• stakeholder personas
• task diagrams
• defining usability requirements
• paper prototyping & interviews with potential users
• heuristic evaluation
